Job Description:
The Graduate School of International Policy and Management at the Monterey Institute of International Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Nonproliferation Studies. In addition to a faculty appointment, the opportunity exists for an affiliation with the Monterey Institute's James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. The position is available at all ranks, but applicants should have teaching experience and a record of scholarly publication in the area of weapons of mass destruction and means for their control.
Requirements:
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Priority will be given to individuals with a PhD or equivalent work experience and in-country research in one or more geographic regions outside of the United States. Multi-lingual skills are an asset and the successful candidate will have opportunities to teach in a language other than English.

Physical Effort and Work Environment
The Monterey Institute maintains a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. Position requires light to moderate physical effort and the ability to work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Salary is commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.
